I was hoping today would be nice enough to go to Jones Beach, but as it turns out (just my luck), it's raining all day up there. :( I guess that means Cas will be home for Lake Compounce and Jones Beach!

I was searching a D.I.Y website last night and came across a pillow case dress, which is a dress made out of a pillow case! I decided to make one for my little sister Greta. It's not quite finished but it's getting there. Wish me luck!

Freakin thunderstorms. I was supposed to go to Lake Compounce the theme park today but of course it was supposed to thunder right when it opens :( Oh well, to make up for it I should being going this Friday or the next. Which means Cas will be home! I'm also planning on going into the City before school starts, I need clothes badly!

HEY HEY HEY! I feel like I haven't posted here in awhile! I got home from Virginia Beach this morning at 2 and then my sister woke me up at 7 30, lovely 5 hours of sleep. The night before I left I realized I needed a bag to carry my things in for the car ride up, which is how I came up with this black cross-body bag. I used a black leather belt for the strap, and the inside of my old soccer shirt for the body. Ta-da! In it I carried my book, Water for Elephants, and Beetles & Black Eyed Pees CDs. I just rode to the town library on my bike, while in this simple every day outfit. made up of:: white tank, Levi jean shorts, vintage boots, thrifted bag & necklace. I got two books for the cape which i dont recall the name of. I am hoping that i actually finish them! Because i am not a big reader and sitting on the beach is the perfect place to sit down and read a good book. OH, and for all of you who have never heard the song "send me on my way" by Rusted Root, i DEMAND you to go listen to it;) I thought it confined my little trip to the library pretty well,ehh?

ps. i'm leaving now for the cape, so my blogging will be to a minimum--mainly up to mag!!

Sorry about not posting yesterday! I've been getting ready for Cape Cod, in which I'm leaving for today!!! Pretty exited, expecially for those cute boutiques, thrift shops, and flea markets:) I will surely yet you know what i buy!.
